Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
A: Check-in is at 4:00pm. Check-out is at 2:00pm. When available, early check-in or late check-out can be arranged
Q: What are the accommodations?
A: There are six bedrooms that will comfortably sleep a total of 14 people. Bedroom one consists of four twin beds. Bedroom two through six consist of two twin beds each. No bunk beds.
Q: Do we need to bring bedding or linens?
A: Each bed is made up with fresh, clean sheets, a blanket, a comforter and a pillow. Each guest will receive a set of bathroom towels for their use during their visit.
Q: What about food during our stay?
A: Each group provides their own food for their stay. The full service kitchen will have everything you need to prepare and serve your favorite meals. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave, crockpot, coffee maker, toaster, waffle maker, refrigerator, dishwasher, and all your cooking essentials. There is a gas grill available for outdoor cooking.
There is a grocery store located in Finley which is about 7 miles from the Dakota Getaway. There will also be information available on several local restaurants if you choose to go out to eat.
Q: How about smoking and pets?
A: Smoking is not allowed in the house or garage. Pets are not allowed in the house. We ask that you kindly respect these rules.
Q: Can I reserve the Dakota Getaway for something other than scrapbooking?
A: Definitely. We welcome all kinds of groups, whether you need a few days to catch up on a craft, need a getaway to the country, or just want a weekend with family and friends!
Q: What is the payment/cancellation policy?
A: A $250 deposit is required to reserve your space at the Dakota Getaway. All balances are due 30 days prior to your stay. If we do not receive your balance within 30 days of your stay, your spot will be cancelled and no refunds will be made of your deposit.
You will receive a confirmation letter and information packet after the deposit has been received.
Cancellation Policy:
If it becomes necessary to cancel or change your reservation, notify us immediately via email at janelle@dakotagetaway.com or phone (701) 388-3766. Cancellations and changes are accepted and dealt with at the sole discretion of the owners of the Dakota Getaway.
Cancellation requests must be received 30 or more days prior to arrival date. Refund of deposit, less a $50 processing fee, will be made. In the event of less than 30 days notification, your deposit will be forfeited. Final balances paid cannot be refunded.
A credit card number will be required as a security deposit.
